| Congratulations, you’re engaged . . . and you got a lovely engagement ring. Now, we’d like to help you to get your hands in shape, so they will be an appropriate palate for your treasured possession. |
 |
- Begin by using a moisture trapping hand cream, after every time you wash your hands.
- Condition your cuticles. Take a little bit of cuticle oil or cream and rub it into your cuticles. Do this every day and your cuticles will remain hydrated. That will help to stimulate growth.
- Exfoliate the dead skin on your hands and cuticles. In lieu of cutting your cuticles, wet your cuticles and use a rough nail file to remove excess skin around your nails.
- When selecting your nail color, opt for a traditional, pale shade that won't overpower your ring. A frosted, opalescent color will add a little “bling” to the color. If you prefer, a sheer white is flattering to any skin undertone.
With a fairly simply regimen, when you are asked to show off your ring, your hands will be a lovely backdrop and you will be comfortable "howing off."
